WOMEN'S JAIL AL-ANON MEETING
A new Women's Jail Al-Anon Meeting in the Public Service Building in downtown Madison has been meeting in 2010. More info soon...
Now is the time to commit! We are looking for additional volunteers to help lead meetings once a month (in pairs). The jail authorities will require you complete a short form and will perform a background check prior to participation. If approved to be a volunteer, you will need to attend a 4-hour orientation on a Wednesday morning.
LITERATURE DONATIONS
The Dane County Jail chaplains are welcoming donations of new or used 12-step literature (books, magazines, pamphlets). The chaplains will give the books to inmates upon request. Old Forums are especially welcome. Consider donating literature you seldom use and watch for 12 step literature at used bookstores or garage sales. Remove any personal information before donating.

bring them to the City County building's front desk, in a bag or box marked "FOR THE JAIL CHAPLAINS" or

bring them to Fitchburg Serenity Club, which has a literature drop box for the jail near its front door, or

START A DONATION BOX AT YOUR OWN MEETING SITE OR CLUBHOUSE. (This is a good joint project with AA and other 12 step groups.)
BEGINNERS MEETINGS
Meetings with childcare
